Head Teacher

Welcome from our Head Teacher

It is my pleasure to welcome you to our school community and to share with you what makes Fairfield House School such a special place to learn, grow and succeed.

At Fairfield House School, we believe that every child and young person has unique strengths, talents and potential. Our role is to nurture these qualities, remove barriers to learning and create opportunities for every pupil to flourish both academically and personally.

We are a specialist school that supports children and young people with a wide range of complex needs, including autism, communication difficulties and social, emotional and mental health needs. We understand that every pupil's journey is different, which is why we provide a highly personalised approach that places the individual at the centre of everything we do.

Our dedicated team works tirelessly to create a safe, nurturing and inspiring environment where pupils feel valued, understood and empowered to achieve their goals. We recognise that positive relationships are the foundation of successful learning and take pride in building strong partnerships with families, professionals and the wider community.

Learning at Fairfield House School extends far beyond the classroom. Through our outdoor learning environments, therapeutic approaches and partnership with Fairfield Farm Project, pupils have opportunities to develop confidence, independence, resilience and practical life skills in meaningful and engaging ways. We believe that some of the most valuable learning experiences happen when young people are encouraged to explore, discover and learn through doing.

Our vision is simple: to provide an education that enables every pupil to achieve their potential, develop a positive sense of self and prepare for a successful future. We celebrate every achievement, no matter how small, and support our pupils to become confident, capable and valued members of their communities.

Choosing the right school is one of the most important decisions a family can make, and we are proud to offer an environment where children and young people are truly understood, supported and encouraged to thrive.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about Fairfield House School. We look forward to welcoming you and showing you first-hand the warmth, care and ambition that define our school.

Warm regards,

Rachel Kika
